10 is not just a number, it’s a milestone too!
On December 5, 6 and 7 we celebrated our 10th Anniversary and it was really fun! I’d say, it’s been the highlight of my December compared to Christmas.
We celebrated in our usual ways but it a little bit extra special – strolling at our favorite go-tos, finding and trying new places to eat at, eating (of course! haha), talking about things and dreams, walking and catching Pokèmon (✿◠‿◠)
Unfortunately, there’re not much pictures (I was too lazy to bring my DLSR, it’s too heavy!!!) and they’re blurry (taken by my phone). See, I seriously just want to enjoy the moment, after all, no pictures can do justice to the happiness there was these past few daysヽ(≧ω≦●)
But here’re a few pictures, since I did want to document it even if just a little bit:
We decided to check out Greenfield District for Pokémon Go but ended up going to Gastro Park for that icecream that had some smoke effect in it which didn’t really stay long after serving (the smoke effect I mean) but it was really yummy.
First day of our monthsary/10th anniversary. We ended up going out late due to a toy photography contest we’re both joining (sorry >o<)
We decided to go on with our usual walking (and Pokémon ball gathering lol) from the local market to the city plaza. When we got to the city plaza, we heard the announcement guy saying the light show will start in 20 minutes – yay! So, we waited and bought some fries. After, we walked further and found out that the little stall selling okonomiyaki we’ve been seeing also served ramen which was timely because I told him I wanted noodles. It was easily one of my best meals after a long walk. We even bumped into our old college professor, but we couldn’t both remember his full name was that we made theories what that name was, and then we laughed about it until we got to the parking lot. It was a fruitful day because I also caught Lickitung which was a very funny and peculiar Pokémon that reminded us of Tora baby.
He wasn’t answering my texts when I told him to buy food for our lil Tora baby so I can give him something different before we went out (thinking he’s been getting sick of dog food). Then when he arrived, I was surprised with lovely roses!!!
After, we went to check out SM East Ortigas after contemplating on the many places we wanted to go for our anniversary “final day”. He got me something to build from Miniso.
We ate bit by bit here and there, checking out the whole place but we had to go to somewhere else because they didn’t have BPI ATMs around (Mr Q., huhu, let’s go back for that Pikachu cotton candy and other Miniso stuff, okay?) and the BDO ATM machines weren’t friendly with his card haha.
So off we went to Robinsons, for a massage (mostly), at Toys R Us where he also found a gatcha token lying around somewhere (so we only needed one!) and got us a minion.
..then we ate Pepper Lunch meals. I gave half of mine so his order would be then “super duper upgraded” and because I’m on a silly diet.
Like I said though, these pictures cannot express how this anniversary went and I’m hoping to go beyond 10 years (*/ω＼*) many more dates, walks and adventures together! May it be extreme, challenging or something. I don’t seem to know a life without this person in the picture…is that normal? Just like how my mom says, I’m probably too in love – just as much as I was the first time I saw him.
To this day, I honestly don’t know how it’s gotten that long (and I know some are probably already saying, ‘why are these guys not even married yet?‘) but I don’t care either way as long as everything’s in place as it should be.
It takes awhile, but what matters to me right now is that we’re together and we fight our battles hand in hand. We go though up and downs, talk about our days and I’ll never get tired of that. I know we’ll get there anyway, someday, if not now, not soon, someday we will!
I just hope same goes for him – I feel that everyday I am the luckiest girl to have this person in my life, he truly is my angel ever since for being there, lighting up the gloomy days, letting me understand the world better and seeing it in a brand new way that I did before. Thanks to him for being supportive, for being patient (because I’m as stubborn as I can be), for keeping up with my very often tantrums (but hey, it’s lesser than before right?), for cheering me up (when nobody else did), for reminding me the simple joys in life and making me laugh, for sharing me stories and advices that made everything have more sense, for helping me grow, letting me find myself, for letting me be myself, for trying so hard for all of these.
So to my dearest – thank you for happy and crazy 10 years together, here’s to more years to come! Know that 10 years are just a few of the moments I’m willing to spend you (〃ω〃)
No one knows if forever truly exists, but I’d like to believe it does because there’s you and me ＼(＾∀＾）メ（＾∀＾）ノ
PS. Thanks for keeping up with my cheesy post, folks. It’s over and I’m out! Hehe (*>ω<*)
